4) Where are your products manufactured?
All motor starters, combination starters, disconnects and panel boards are assembled in Fort Payne, AL USA.
Our assemblies use components manufactured from every corner of the globe. Most folks haven't pick up a part lately and looked at the country of manufacture. Very few parts - even old time American names- are still manufacturing components in the USA. With the exception of heavy components, almost everything is made somewhere other than the USA. The reason is obvious, it is always money. Over the last few years even labor intensive heavy electrical components have shifted. Transformers for example, 10 years ago almost all low voltage (600V) transformers used in the US were built here. Then they shifted to Mexico. Now, we are seeing China. The trend continues….
